Today made a public post on an old YouTube Channel of mine that was constructed to assist students in learning course materials that includes:
"LOL...Did the real M.R.C Ardis really stand up? Apparently not until today the 19th of January 2026. As we use this as an example (not true B.T.W.). For example, what if I "M.R. C.Ardis" was actually fluctuating from the "precontemplation stage of change" to other stages of change in waiting to actually announce to the world that I "M.R. C Ardis" am actually "Mottor-Rivera, Carolyn Ardis" as in Carolyn Mottor-Rivera (of Carolyn Mottor-Rivera Counseling https://www.cmr-counseling.com/). This next part is also not actually fact. However, let us for a moment imagine if I really wanted to admit my real identify before today. Wow to think what if for many years I moved back and forth from "pre-contemplation stage of change" to "contemplation stage of change" until I finally entered the "action stage of change" in the form or posting on YouTube on 19th of January 2026 in the form of posting my "real" name Carolyn Mottor Rivera as in the real Carolyn Ardis Mottor-Rivera. Then to think on a more global view/personal view. What are you waiting for? What is holding you from making a change? Is the change beneficial? What are the potential positives and potential negatives? True the fictional example I provided in this post may seem trivial to others deciding to post one's real name in such a digital world. However, imagine if it was mine and imagine if at times it may still be mine. What may be holding others from moving forward towards their goals? (example- addressing anxiety/panic of speaking in public setting) or more directly What is holding you back from meeting your goals?"
